How I work

Five steps. No fluff. Same process every account.

Whether your budget is $2k or $20k a month, the work follows the same discipline. Skip a step and you leak money.

01

Audit — find the leaks

I go through your entire account: campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, devices, hours, and tracking. Most home service accounts leak 20–40% of budget on tablet clicks that never convert, Search Partners with zero call intent, or high-spend keywords like “cheap” and “DIY” that pull in tire-kickers. I map every dollar to what it produced.

02

Regain control — turn off Google’s autopilot

Google’s auto-applied recommendations quietly change bids, add broad keywords, and inflate your “optimization score” while burning budget. I turn all of that off. A high optimization score doesn’t pay for your fuel or your crew — qualified calls do.

03

Structure — lean campaigns built to scale

I rebuild into a small number of focused Search campaigns. Ad groups are tight, keywords are high-intent (“emergency plumber near me”, not just “plumber”), and ad copy matches what someone in a jam actually types. Proven performers stay separate from experiments so testing never contaminates what’s working.

04

Optimize — weekly work, not set-and-forget

Every week I review search terms, add negatives, kill weak keywords, refresh ad copy, and reallocate budget to what’s converting. I A/B test landing page headlines and CTAs. Once the account has enough conversion data, I switch to Target CPA or Maximize Conversions so Google scales based on real performance, not guesses.

05

Report — transparent, no vanity dashboards

You get a live Google Data Studio dashboard showing spend, calls, cost per call, and conversions in real time. Every week I record a short Loom video walking you through what changed, why, and what’s next. You’ll never wonder what I’m doing with your budget.

Pricing

Flat monthly rates. No surprises, no percentages.

Management fee depends on your monthly ad spend. I don’t charge a percentage — that punishes you for scaling.

About

I’m Abuzar. Google Ads for home services is the only thing I do.

I started three years ago doing local SEO and Google Business Profile work for US contractors on Upwork. That’s where I saw the pattern — most of them were paying agencies $2,000+ a month for Google Ads accounts that were quietly bleeding budget on tablet clicks, broad match keywords, and Search Partner placements nobody was watching.

So I learned the platform properly. Got Google Ads certified. Stopped taking generalist marketing work and narrowed down to one thing: lead generation for home service businesses — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, garage door repair.

“The homeowner searching ‘emergency AC repair near me’ at 11pm is a specific human with specific intent. I structure everything around that person.”

Three years and 20+ clients later, I’m still not chasing every industry. Home services is a big enough problem to solve well. The customer journeys, the seasonal patterns, the emergency-vs-scheduled intent, the way Google’s Local Services Ads interact with regular Search — this is the stuff I think about.

I keep my roster small — usually 8 to 10 active clients at a time. Every account gets weekly review, real Loom updates from me (not an intern), and honest reporting on what’s working and what isn’t. If your budget is $2k a month or $20k, the discipline is the same.

Being based in Pakistan means my rates are lower than what US agencies charge for the same work — not because the work is worth less, but because my cost of living is. I structure my day around US business hours so response times don’t suffer.

FAQ

Everything I get asked before we start.

If yours isn’t here, ask on the discovery call — I’d rather answer honestly than sell you.

Book a discovery call
What’s the minimum ad spend I need to make Google Ads work?

For home service businesses, $1,500–$2,000 per month is a realistic floor. Below that, Google’s algorithm doesn’t get enough conversion data to optimize, and you’ll spend weeks stuck in the learning phase with unclear signals. For competitive verticals like plumbing or HVAC in major metros, $2,500–$3,000 is healthier. I’ll tell you honestly if your budget is too small — there’s no point taking your money if I can’t deliver.

How long before I actually see results?

The first 30 days is setup, tracking install, and Google’s learning phase — you’ll start getting calls, but data is thin. By day 60, patterns emerge and I optimize hard. Most clients see a clear downward trend in cost-per-lead by day 90. If you need instant results in month one, Google Ads isn’t the right channel — Local Services Ads or Facebook lead gen might be a better start.

Do you build landing pages, or do we use my existing website?

Depends on what you already have. If your site has a dedicated service page that loads fast on mobile, has one clear CTA, and a click-to-call button above the fold, we can start with it. If not, I build a focused landing page for each service category — included in the Growth and Scale tiers. Sending paid clicks to a generic homepage is one of the most common reasons Google Ads “doesn’t work.”

What counts as a “conversion” — clicks or actual calls?

Only real conversions. That means a phone call over 30–60 seconds (tracked via CallRail with recorded audio) or a completed form submission. Page views, time on site, video watched to 50% — those are vanity metrics I don’t optimize for. If a lead has no chance of becoming a job, it’s not a lead.

How often will you communicate with me?

Weekly Loom video updates (3–5 minutes) showing what changed, why, and what’s next. Plus direct WhatsApp for anything urgent — you’ll never have to chase me for status. Once a month, we do a longer strategy call to talk trends and plan the next quarter.

Do you work alone or is this outsourced to a team?

I run every account myself. No juniors, no VA in a different timezone, no “someone from my team will get back to you.” When you message, you get me. That’s why I cap my client roster at 8–10 accounts at a time.

Can you fix my existing campaigns, or do we start from scratch?

Both are options. I always start with a full audit — sometimes existing campaigns have a solid foundation that just needs cleaning up (better negatives, restructured ad groups, fixed tracking). Other times, the account is so tangled that rebuilding takes less time than fixing. I’ll tell you which one makes sense after the audit, not before.

What industries do you actually work with?

Home services only: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, garage door repair, electrical, painting, landscaping, pest control. Occasionally I take on adjacent local service businesses (limousines, commercial cleaning) when the fundamentals match. I don’t do e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B lead gen — that work belongs to specialists in those verticals.

Do you integrate with my CRM (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce)?

Yes. I connect Google Ads to your CRM so we can track leads through to closed jobs, not just form fills. That way we optimize for the leads that actually turn into revenue — not just any lead. This kind of offline conversion tracking is included in the Scale tier.

What if I want to cancel? Am I locked in?

Month-to-month contracts. Cancel with 30 days notice. I don’t lock clients in with 6-month agreements because the work should stand on its own. If it’s not working after 90 days, we shouldn’t keep pretending. You also keep your Google Ads account — it’s yours, not mine.

Straight talk

This isn’t for everyone. Here’s who I can’t help.

I’d rather turn down work than take money knowing I can’t deliver. If any of these sound like you, we’re probably not a fit — and I’ll say so on the discovery call.

You expect leads in week one

Google Ads needs 60–90 days to learn and optimize. If you need calls next Monday, this isn’t the right channel — try Local Services Ads or Facebook lead ads instead.

Your margins can’t handle a $50–$80 lead

Home service leads on Google aren’t cheap. If your average job value is $150 and your closing rate is low, the math won’t work. I’ll be honest about this instead of pretending “a few tweaks” will fix it.

You want to spend $500/mo and dominate your market

In a competitive metro, $500 buys you maybe 100 clicks. That’s not enough conversion data for Google to optimize on, and no amount of “AI magic” will change that. Realistic minimum is $1,500/mo.

You’re selling something outside home services

E-commerce, SaaS, B2B lead gen, real estate — these all have their own dynamics that I don’t specialize in. I’d rather refer you to a freelancer who lives in that world than fake competence.

You want daily dashboards and hourly updates

I do weekly Loom videos and monthly strategy calls. Daily hand-holding kills the actual optimization work and doesn’t change results. If you want an in-house feel with constant touchpoints, hire an in-house marketer.

You want guarantees like “first page in 30 days”

Anyone who guarantees specific rankings, lead counts, or ROAS numbers is either lying or new. I can commit to the process and the discipline. The results depend on your offer, market, and how well we work together.
